Hi. I’m Kerri Karvetski, owner of Company K Media. I help nonprofits, small businesses and government agencies build community, raise money and engage members using the Web, e-mail and social media.
I’ve been helping folks communicate online and in print for more than 20 years – as a trade journal reporter, technology PR flack and a few flavors of nonprofit communicator.
Here are some of the ways I work today:
- Write kick-butt website and e-mail copy for Amnesty International US and for clients of Sea Change Strategies and Beaconfire Consulting
- Advise and execute e-mail marketing, online donations, online campaigns and social media strategies for nonprofits (Teaching the Hudson Valley and International Primate Protection League), businesses (Hudson Valley Backyard Farm Company) and government agencies (Roosevelt-Vanderbilt National Historic Sites)
- Provide training for e-mail and social media marketing for Project ALS/Move for ALS

An aspiring baker, gardener and Hudson Valley enthusiast, I dabble in politics and revel in humor (my celebrity crush is Stephen Colbert). I have been known to get worked up over a game of Lexulous.
I can write just about anything you throw at me. Challenge me!
I live with my husband, two children, cat, fish and woodchucks in historic Rhinebeck, NY. I’m trying to do something about the woodchucks.
