From the Democracy in Action blog, the House Judiciary Committee yesterday passed a bi-partisan bill to keep the Internet open and neutral. Called the Net Neutrality Act, the legislation seeks to prevent large broadband providers such as AT&T and Verizon from creating high-speed channels with content of their choice.
